The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, June 16, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Hockley County Courthouse.
Agenda items set for the meeting include: Read for approval the minutes for the following Meetings: - Special meeting held June 9; and - Regular meeting held June 12.
Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court dated through June 16; Hear update from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office; Consider and take necessary action to approve the sales contract for the purchase of 710 Ave. H, Levelland, Texas to be renovated into the Hockley County Elections Office; Consider and take necessary action to approve the renewal of the employee insurance with Texas Association of Counties; Consider and take necessary action to adopt the updated employee handbook; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Continuation Certificate for Brandon Walters, Chief Deputy Treasurer; and Consider and take necessary action to approve the monthly reports due as per 114.044 Local Government Code as submitted by the Hockley County District Clerk, Hockley County Clerk, Hockley County Auditor and Justice of the Peace Precincts 1, 2, 4 and 5.
