The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a special meeting Monday, January 27, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Hockley County Courthouse.
Agenda items slated for the meeting include: Read for approval the minutes for the Regular Meeting held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 20; Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court dated through January 27; Consider and take necessary action to approve the supplemental Irrevocable Letter of Credit No. 91629; Consider and take necessary action to rescind item five on the agenda dated January 13; Consider and take necessary action to accept the resignation letter of Amy Cantwell, Hockley County Librarian, effective March 28; Consider and take necessary action to appoint a Librarian for the Hockley County Library effective March 31; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Memorandum of Understanding, the plans and Resolution 2025-1 between the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office and Flock Safety regarding Automated License Plate Recognition Cameras; and Consider and take necessary action to approve Ad Valorem tax refunds.
