The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, January 20, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Hockley County Courthouse. Agenda items include: Read for approval the minutes for the special meeting held January 13; Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court dated through January 20; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Hockley County Treasurer’s 2024 4th Quarter Financial Report; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Liability Renewal Questionnaire from Texas Association of Counties; Consider and take necessary action to approve a line item transfer; Consider and take necessary action to approve the purchase of two 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab trucks through the Buy Board for use in Precinct 4; Consider and take necessary action to accept the Certificate of Completion awarded to Hockley County Clerk, Jennifer Palermo; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Continuation Certificate for Oralie Gutierrez, District Clerk and for Maggie Rodriguez, Chief Deputy District Clerk; and Consider and take necessary action to approve the monthly reports due as per 114.044 Local Government Code as submitted by the Hockley County District Clerk, Hockley County Clerk, Hockley County Auditor and Justice of the Peace Precincts 1, 2, 4 and 5.
