Hockley County Grand Jury returns six indictments

The 286th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced that a Hockley County Grand Jury convened April 30 and returned six indictments.

Roshanda Carr, 46, was charged with the possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 of more than one gram but less than four grams.

On or about May 7, 2024, Carr, intentionally and knowingly possessed a controlled substance, namely, methamphetamine, in an amount of one gram or more but less than four grams.

Jorge Luis Sanchez-Gonzalez, 39, was charged with sexually assaulting a child.

On or about January 23, Sanchez-Gonzalez, intentionally and knowingly caused the penetration of the organ of a child younger than 17 years of age, by the defendant’s fingers.

John Henry Bosquez, 32, was charged with injuring a child, elderly, or disabled with intentional bodily injury.

On or about February 4, 2024, Bosquez intentionally and knowingly caused bodily harm to a child of 14 years of age or younger, by hitting them in the head with his hands.

Hanna Humphreys, 24, was charged with the possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than one gram.

On or about December 7, 2024, Humphreys intentionally and knowingly possessed a controlled substance, namely, methamphetamine in an amount of less than one gram.

Nadine Alexandra Adam, 27, was charged with burglary of habitation.

On or about January 23, Adam with intent to commit theft, entered a habitation, without the effective consent of the owner.

Manuel Jose Venegas, 39, was charged with the possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than one gram.

On or about January 11, Venegas intentionally and knowingly possessed a controlled substance, namely, methamphetamine, in an amount of less than gram.
