Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar will distribute $1.2 billion in local sales tax allocations for June, which is a 6.1% increase from June 2024.
These allocations are based on sales made in April by businesses that report tax monthly.
Cities received $734.4 million in allocations for a 5.7 % increase from June 2024. It is a 4.3% year to- date increase.
Transit systems received $242.6 million in allocations for a 4.9% increase from June 2024. It is a 3.4% year-to-date increase.
Counties received $72.9 million in allocations for a 6.0 % increase from June 2024. It is a 5.2% year-to-date increase.
Special purpose districts received $121.4 million in allocations for a 11.8% increase from June 2024. It is a 9.8% yearto-date increase.
The June total payments for Hockley and Cochran County cities were outlined in the Monthly Sales Tax Allocation Comparison Summary Reports.
The total payment to Levelland was $430.331.66 which is a 2.53% increase from the $419,708.82 payment allocated last June.
The year-to-date payment to Levelland was $2,566,787.46, a 6.41% increase from the June year-to-date payment of $2,412,001.16.
The total payment to Opdyke West was $505.51 which is a 53.68% decrease from the $ 1,091.44 payment allocated last June.
The year-to-date payment to Opdyke West was $2,637.07, a 16.90% decrease from the June 2024 year-to-date payment of $3,173.49.
The total payment to Sundown was $42,724.80 which is a 30.04% increase from the $32,854.99 payment allocated last June.
The year-to-date payment to Sundown was $229,865.46, a 5,97% increase from the June 2024 year-to-date payment of $216,911.37.
The total payment to Smyer was $6,342.11 which is a 5.56% increase from the $6,006.89 payment allocated last June.
The year-to-date payment to Smyer was $36,435.31, a .23% decrease from the June 2024 yearto-date payment of $36,522.13. The total payment to Ropesville was $ 15,140.18 which is a 36.36% increase from the $ 11,102.33 payment allocated last June.
The year-to-date payment to Ropesville was $78,634.75, a 13.43% increase from the June year-to-date payment of $69,318.39.
The total payment to Anton was $8,332.54 which is a 8.54% increase from the $7,676.24 payment allocated last June.
The year-to-date payment to Anton was $60,249.97, a 6.22% increase from the June 2024 yearto-date payment of $56,720.85. The total payment to Whitefacewas $2,571.55 which is a 13.70 decrease from the $2,979.80 payment allocated last June.
The year-to-date payment to Whiteface was $ 17,495.16,4.08% decrease from the June 2024 yearto- date payment of $118,239.92.
The total payment to Morton was$15,168.22 whichisa 17.59% increase from the $12,898.59 payment allocated last June.
The year-to-date payment to Morton was $81,602.43, a 6.46% increase from the June 2024 yearto-date payment of $76,644.23.
