The 35th annual Juneteenth Celebration was held this weekend at L.G. Griffin Park. On Saturday, Mayor of Levelland, Breann Buxkemper read a proclamation kickingoff the celebration. Pictured is Mayor Buxkemper (left) and Juneteenth Committe Member Glenda Jones (right). The celebration included Friday events such as childrens games, bingo and dominoes along with a hangout. Saturday’s events included a car show, basketball tournament, cookout and cornhole tournament.
