The Levelland City Council will be holding a regular meeting Monday, October 21, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers located within City Hall. Agenda items include: Consider and take necessary action to approve the minutes of the September 16, regular meeting, October 2, special meeting, October 16, special meeting and October 17, special meeting; Consider and take necessary action on the annual services agreement with the Levelland Chamber of Commerce for fiscal year 2024-2025; Consider and take necessary action on Resolution No. 2024-34 approving an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation regarding the closing of two blocks of state highway for the 2024 Christmas on the Square and Festival of Lights; Consider and take necessary action to issue order to abate, repair, secure or demolish regarding substandard structure located at 1802 9th Street; Consider and take necessary action on an interlocal agreement with the Levelland Independent School District regarding Student Resource Officers (SRO’s); Consider and take necessary action on an Oxy Farm Lease extension for Wells Produce; Consider and take necessary action to award a bid for hail damage repair for City of Levelland vehicles; Consider and take necessary action on an agreement with Ameresco for water meter infrastructure; Consider and take necessary action to approve Resolution 2024-35 authorizing matching funds for an Airport Layout Plan; Consider and take necessary action to approve a 5-year service agreement with Blue Layer IT Solutions for operations and maintenance of security system at City Hall; Update on the weather incident of May 29, 2024 Consider and take necessary action on Resolution 2024-36 extending the May 29, 2024, Disaster Declaration and continued activation of the Levelland Emergency Management Plan; City Manager Report: Staff Updates, Project Updates, Staff/ Citizen recognition, Items of Community Interest.
