Levelland February building permits issued

Fifty-two building permits have been issued by the City of Levelland totaling roughly $3.6 million for the year while 28 permits were issued during Feb. totaling $790,863.

Two single family building permits were issued in Feb. for $230,000. In the year, three have been issued for a total of $580,000.

Two business permits were issued this year for approximately $1.8 million.

There were two permits issued for dwellings totaling $230,898 for Feb. and the year. One business permit was issued in the year for a total of $125,000. Two Certificate of Occupancies were issued in Feb. for $60 and six have been issued this year for a total of $180.

In the other category, 28 permits were issued in Feb. for a total of $790,863. In the year, 38 permits in the other category totaled $836,858.

Three structures have been demolished in Feb. and 10 have been demolished this year. There has been one sewer connection established and no water connections.

The building issued in Feb. are as follows: A residential roofing permit was issued to Madewell Construction at 415 Holly for $17,500.

A residential remodel permit was issued to Jonna Mckinney at 311 Cherry Street for $10,000.

A curb cut permit was issued to Tommy’s Machine Works at 102 Avenue H at no cost.

A carport permit was issued to Don Trotter at 623 Poplar Road for $2,014.

A residential roofing permit was issued to Sustainable Edge Construction at 2029 Longhorn Drive for $21,000.
