3/19/25 - Law Enforcement Center - 1:53 P.M.
An officer responded to the Law Enforcement Center to meet with an individual involving fraud. A report of forgery was made.
3/19/25 - 200 block of S. College Avenue - 11:28 A.M.
Officers were dispatched to a business located within the area in reference to a suspicious person using narcotics behind the business. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the individual who showed to have an active misdemeanor warrant for their arrest. The warrant was confirmed and the individual was arrested and taken to the Hockley County Jail without incident.
3/19/25 - 100 block of 11th Street - 1:31 A.M.
An officer was dispatched to a residence within the area in regard to a person with a gun. An arrest was made as a result along with a report for aggravated assault of a date, family, household member with a weapon.
3/18/25 - 700 block of MLK - 5:20 P.M.
Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a disturbance.
3/17/25 - 700 block of College Avenue - 11:15 P.M.
An officer was dispatched to the area in regard to a stolen vehicle. A report of unauthorized use of vehicle was made.
3/17/25 - 1300 block of College Avenue - 10:34 P.M.
An officer patrolling the area conducted a traffic stop. An arrest was made with a report for unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of marijuana less than two ounces was made.
3/16/25 - 1600 block of 8th Street - 10:19 P.M.
Officers patrolling the area initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle due to the vehicle obstructing the roadway by parking more than 18 inches from the curb. A report of manufacturing, delivery of a controlled substance penalty group one between four grams and 200 grams and a prohibited substance in a correctional facility was made.
3/14/25 - 1300 block of S. College Avenue - 10:42 P.M.
Officers patrolling the area initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle due to the vehicle’s failure to display lights while in operation. A report was made for possession of a controlled substance penalty group two, less than one gram in a drug free zone, possession of marijuana less than two ounces in a drug free zone and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
3/14/25 - 200 block of Tanglewood - 7:13 P.M.
Officers were dispatched to a residence within the area in reference to a report of criminal trespassing. A report was made for criminal trespassing.
3/14/25 - 1900 block of Avenue H - 5:19 P.M.
Officers responded to a call of a deceased person. A report was generated.
3/14/25 - Alamo Road and Hickory Street - 2:44 P.M.
Officers were dispatched to an assistance call advising a company van with clients was traveling south passing Alamo Road and Hickory Street and the brakes had failed. Officers responded and located the vehicle which was unable to stop and used a patrol vehicle as intervention. The vehicle was stopped and only minor injuries were reported.
3/13/25 - 200 block of S. College Avenue - 2:46 P.M.
Officers were dispatched to a residence in reference to a warrant service. Upon further investigation, one male individual was taken into custody for a warrant and was transported to the Hockley County Jail.
3/12/25 - 300 block of College Avenue - 3:36 P.M.
Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a fraud call. A report for forgery was made.
3/9/25 - 100 block of S. College Avenue - 9:51 P.M.
Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a domestic
fight. A report was made for assault, family violence.
3/9/25 - 1800 block of 8th Street - 3:52 A.M.
Officers were dispatched to a residence within the area in reference to a disturbance. A report for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault, family violence was made.
3/8/25 - 100 block of S. Alamo - 4:08 P.M.
Officers responded to a residence in regard to theft that had already occurred. A report for theft between $750 and $2,500 was made.
3/7/25 - 200 block of 9th Street - 10:31 P.M.
An officer initiated a traffic stop while patrolling the area. Upon further investigation, the driver was arrested for possession of marijuana less than two ounces and was transported to the Hockley County Jail.
3/7/25 - 200 block of Oak Street - 3 P.M.
Officers patrolling the area initiated a traffic stop. Upon further investigation, the driver was arrested for five Class C warrants and was later released.
3/6/25 - 500 block of S. College Avenue - 8 P.M.
An officer was dispatched to a business in regard to an individual attempting to pass counterfeit money.
3/6/25 - 700 block of College Avenue - 7:17 P.M.
Officers responded to a business in regard to forgery with counterfeit money. A report was made.
3/6/25 - 1700 block of 10th Street - 2:52 P.M.
An officer patrolling the area conducted a traffic stop in regard to a suspicious vehicle. Following a roadside investigation, one individual was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance without incident.
3/4/25 - 1500 block of 11th Street - 5:37 P.M.
An officer was dispatched to the area in reference to suspicious people. Multiple arrests were made along with a report of criminal trespass.

An officer was dispatched to the center to meet with a complainant in reference to theft. A report for theft between $750 and $2,500 was made.

3/3/25 - 100 block of N. College Avenue - 8:46 P.M.
Officers were dispatched to the area in regard to fraud. A report for forgery was made.
3/2/25 - 1700 block of McKinley Street - 9:20 P.M.
Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to possible assault. One adult male was arrested for assault family violence causing bodily injury.
