An officer arrived at the area regarding a warrant service. An arrest was made.
7/7/25 – 800 block of 10th Street – 3:39 P.M.
An officer conducted a traffic stop. An arrest was made for an outstanding warrant.
7/6/25 – 100 block Brentwood – 10 P.M.
An officer was dispatched regarding a reported runway.

Officers were dispatched regarding a report of vandalism.
7/6/25 – 600 block of College – 3:48 P.M.
Officers made a pedestrian contact. While officers were attempting to identify the suspects, a foot pursuit began. A report was generated as a result.

An officer was called for a disturbance.
7/5/25 – 1900 block of Houston – 11:54 A.M.
An officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle. An arrest was made as a result.
7/5/25 – 1400 block of 10th Street – 11:13 A.M.
Officers were dispatched regarding an altercation that happened around 9 p.m. on July 4th in the 1500 block of 10th street.
7/4/25 – 200 block Duvall Drive – 10:35 P.M.
Officers were called regarding an unwanted subject.
7/4/25 – 1600 block of Houston – 3:20 P.M.
Officers observed an individual known to have an active felony warrant. While conducting their investigation and running the individual through dispatch it was confirmed to have an active felony warrant. The subject was placed in custody without incident and transported to Hockley County Jail.
7/4/25 – 300 block of College Ave – 10:31 A.M.
An officer initiated a traffic stop at the Best Inn Motel. An arrest was made as a result of this stop.
7/3/25 – 200 block of 10th Street – 6:59 P.M.
An officer was dispatched in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report and an arrest were made.
7/3/25 – 1800 block of Houston Street – 2:15 P.M.
Officers initiated a pedestrian contact for a warrant service. An officer recognized the pedestrian and had prior knowledge the subject had an active felony warrant. The subject was taken into custody without incident.
7/2/25 – 1100 block of Sherman – 8:19 P.M.
Officers were dispatched for a fight in progress.
7/2/25 – 1200 block of 8th Street – 11:19 A.M.
An officer arrived regarding warrant services. An arrest was later made for warrant for assault causing bodily injury and possession of drug paraphernalia-drive without a driver’s license.
7/2/25 – 1800 block of 8th Street – 12:01 P.M.
An officer arrived regarding a restraining order process. A report was later generated for unlawful restraint and assault on a family or household member impeding breath or circulation.

A detective with the LPD received an intake report from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services citing neglectful supervision.
7/1/25 – 700 block of Martin Luther King – 11:45 A.M.
An officer responded to a call regarding a suspicion of possible elderly abuse. A report was generated as a result.
6/30/25 – 2300 block of South 385 – 12:04 P.M.
Officers responded in reference to a reckless driver. The reporting party stated that a pick-up truck was weaving in and out of traffic and driving recklessly. An arrest was made.
6/30/25 – 500 block of South College – 11:45 A.M.
Officers were dispatched in reference to a stolen vehicle. A report was taken and logged for information only due to the victim not wanting to pursue criminal charges.
6/28/25 – Eagle Avenue - 9:11 A.M.
Officers responded regarding a welfare check. An arrest was later made for assault on a peace officer or judge, resisting arrest, search or transport and six warrants. Warrant one, failure to maintain financial responsibility. Warrant two, failure to maintain financial responsibility. Warrant three, drivers license expired. Warrant four, failure to appear. Warrant five, driving while license invalid. Warrant six, failure to display driver’s license.
6/28/25 – 100 block of Darrell – 8:19 A.M.
An officer arrived at the location for a warrant service attempt. An arrest was made for assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
6/27/25 – 100 block Capitol Avenue – 10:37 A.M.
An officer arrived at the location regarding an unwanted subject in the residence. An arrest was later made for criminal trespass charges involving a habitation, a shelter, a superfund site or critical infrastructure.
6/27/25 – 1600 block of West Washington – 9:21 A.M.
Officers received a radio call of assistance needed at the location in reference to stolen property. Officers arrived and following an investigation, stolen property was located and recovered in the 300 block of N West Ave. A report was made, and the property was released to its owner.
6/26/25 – 100 block of West Avenue – 3:02 P.M.
Officers were dispatched regarding a disturbance. This incident resulted in the arrest of an individual who was charged with assault against an elderly or disabled person and interference with an emergency request for assistance.
6/25/25 – 100 block of Pecan – 6 A.M.
Officers were dispatched in reference to a burglary that had already occurred.
