The LHS UIL Cross Examination Debate Teams had a busy tournament season with Stephanie Sanchez, Jade Baeza, Isabel Canales, Sutton Milford and Gilberto Reyes, under the guidance of debate coach Joshua Ballard, doing hours of research, organization, teamwork, and building the confidence to engage in fast-paced, hour-long arguments to win rounds. Coach Reyes said, ‘it’s exciting that the team finished the year feeling prepared and motivated to compete again next year through growth and experience to build a strong foundation.’
