The LISD Board of Trustees will be holding both a public meeting and regular board meeting on Jan. 21 at 6 p.m.
The 2025 final audit report is expected to be presented and a public TAPR public hearing will be held.
Consent agenda items to be considered and acted on include the financial report, the2026 Board of Trustees Election and the summer enrichment calendar.
The board is expected to hear campus reports from LABC, Capitol, South and the athletic department.
The superintendent is expected to give a report on the Hockley County Credit Union and LIDS partnership, a legislative update and 202627 school calendar.
Additionally, a personnel report on new hires and teacher turnover rate is on the agenda.
