The Uniform Election will be held on May 2, according to the Texas Secretary of State website, that includes city, school district and non-county political subdivisions.
The Levelland News-Press will be accepting candidate biographies beginning March 15, with a deadline of April 6, with those set to be published on April 12 prior to early voting which begins on April 20.
No bios will be accepted after the deadline.
Candidate biographies may be up to 300 words and should include what election, place or precinct and qualifications and why running, how long in in district and other pertinent information. Please keep family information to a minimum.
A headshot photo may be included when published. It can be emailed or come by the office to have a photo taken.
