The City of Smyer will hold its regular aldermen meeting on Jan. 8 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Smyer Senior Citizens’ Building.
Aldermen are expected to hear a fire report from the Smyer Volunteer Fire Department.
Also on the agenda is consideration and possible action on a resolution for the election of city officers, as well as the Joint Proclamation Establishing an Interjurisdictional Automatic Response Agreement between the cities of Ropesville and Smyer.
Other items to be considered is a request for disinterment at Smyer Cemetery.
Aldermen are also expected to approve the annual report including the Capital and Improvement & Comprehensive Plan, as well as reports from the engineer, water/wastewater and financial personnel, and take action on building permits as needed.
