The City of Smyer Board of Aldermen will be holding a special meeting Thursday, July 29, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Smyer Senior Citizens’ Building located at 224 Lincoln in Smyer.
Agenda items include: Call to Order; Waive the reading of the minutes of a regular meeting;
Hear from the public on nonagenda items. (Time is limited to three minutes. Forms stating name and topic must be filled out and turned in by 5:30 p.m., July 29, 2025. Forms available at City Hall. Topic must deal with City Services.); Consider and take necessary action on building permits; Conduct budget work session for fiscal year October 1, 2025 - September 30, 2026; Discuss proposed utility rate increases; and Adjourn.
