The South Plains College Board of Regents will be holding a regular meeting Thursday, beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the Administration Building. Agenda items slated for the meeting include: Prayer; Pledge of Allegiance to United States Flag; Public comment; Approval of minutes; The vice president for student affairs will discus the Fall 2024 Census Enrollment Figures, Title IX 2023-2024 Quarter 4 Report, SPC 2023 Annual Campus Security Report and 2021 Official Three-Year CDR Report; The vice president for academic affairs will provide a Texan to Red Raider Update; The vice president for business affairs will present the Financial Report, Property Tax Report, Quarterly Investment Report and resale of property; The vice president for institutional advancement will discuss the Distinguished Alumni events; The President’s Report will include a construction update, legislative update and consider the dental hygiene program; Upcoming activities that will be discussed are: Halloween Carnival – Thursday, October 31from 6-9 p.m.
Scholarship Banquet – Thursday, November 7 at 6 p.m.
Distinguished Alumni Reception on Friday, November 8 beginning at 10 a.m.; Executive Session/Closed Meeting, Personnel Matters (Texas Gov’t Code Section 551.074); and Adjourn.
