The Sundown City Council will be holding a regular meeting Tuesday, February 18, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at City Hall.
Agenda items set for the meeting are as follows: Call to Order; Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance; Citizen appearances; Department updates; Approval of the Jan. 9 regular meeting; Presentation and approval of the annual audit;
Hockley County 2025 Interlocal Agreement for street maintenance and fire services; Consideration and action on an interlocal agreement with SPAG for application development services for the 2025-26 TxCDBG Downtown Revitalization Program; Resolution No. 183 - the City Council may consider, discuss and authorize a resolution adopting policies in connection with TxCDBG CDV23-0179 grant; Sundown Police Department presentation on racial profiling; Discuss and set price for Sundown properties for sale; Review payables for the month of January; Administrators Report will include topics regarding street sweeper rental, safe-built building permits; TCG - dangerous buildings, tumbleweeds and park fund/park board; and Adjourn.
