The Sundown City Council will be holding a regular meeting slated for Tuesday, September 10, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
Agenda items slated for the meeting include: Citizen appearances; Public works update, library update, police department update and fire department update; Approval of minutes for the regular meeting held August 13; Hold a public hearing on the FY 2024-25 Budget; Hold a public hearing on the FY 2024-25 Tax Rate; Approve Ordinance No. 601 Adopting a Budget; Approve Ordinance No. 602 Adopting a Tax Rate;
Approving Ordinance No. 603 Water, Sewer and Garbage increase; Discuss TML Risk Pool Board of Trustees election; Set minimum bids on Collins and Carter Addition lots and discuss property and roads; Review payables for the month of August; and Hear City Administrator report regarding the seal coat, AMI Meters, SPAG grant for generators and a Public Management Inc. grant.
