Sundown ISD has announced registration information will be available from Aug. 1 to Aug. 7 for the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
For returning students, online registration was held on Friday.
New students will have an opportunity to attend their respective campus office on Thursday, Aug. 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. face-to-face. Students new to the district will need to bring a birth certificate, social security card, immunization record, proof of residency (Water Bill, Electric Bill, etc.) and a copy of the last report card if possible.
For individuals with any questions, it is encouraged to contact the students respective campus at (806) 602-8823 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Elementary: Betty Geisler ext. 4000, Middle School: Keri Riley ext. 3000 and High School: Melissa Stephens ext. 2000) If returning students require computer access or assistance, make plans to attend the inperson registration night on Aug. 7 at the proper campus office. New students are also welcome to register at their respective school during school hours after Aug. 1.
During the meet and greet registration, a community meal in the cafeteria will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The elementary meet and greet will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The middle school and high school meet and greet will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A mandatory seniors and parent meeting will be held at 7:45 p.m. in the cafeteria.
