City of Levelland building permits issued throughout March

Ninety-six building permits have been issued by the City of Levelland totaling roughly $5 million while 44 permits were issued during March totaling $1.4 million.Three single-family permits have been issued this year for a total of $580,000. Two business building permits were issued for roughly $1.

South Plains College’s annual Peace Officer Memorial Service will take place at 10 a.m. on April 30 on the lawn of the Levelland campus entrance.The event will honor law enforcement officers whose lives were lost while serving and protecting citizens across the United States in 2024.

AT-LARGE LISD CANDIDATE - Gary Bridges is taking part in the Levelland ISD School Board election as he is campaigning for the at-large position.
STARTING FROM SCRATCH - A construction crew has been tearing out all existing gas pump infrastructure at Allsup’s located along College Avenue. Staff at the convenient store stated everything related to the gas pumps is being replaced along with the parking lot being redone in the future. The completion of the entire project was estimated to be roughly three weeks. (Staff photo by Dom Puente)
