Mega Foam Parties brings community fun, June 28

The Levelland community is in store for some summer fun as a Mega Foam Party is set to take place on June 28, beginning at 6 p.m. at Lobo Lake.An idea put together by Shanna Moody and Mary Engledow, the idea came to them following the devastation of the stores the area suffered at the end of May.

Gov. Abbott adds two counties to disaster declaration

Governor Greg Abbott announced Friday that he added Hopkins and Titus counties to the state’s disaster declaration for Texas communities impacted by recent severe weather that began on April 26.

LISD Board of Trustees seeks candidates

The Levelland ISD Board of Trustees is seeking a candidate to fill an open trustee position.The trustee position is an At-Large position that expires in 2026. Per Texas Education Code §11.
