TxDOT begins road projects

The Texas Department of Transportation is beginning work this week on a $1.63 million safety project to install reflective pavement markers (RPMs) to various roads in all the Lubbock District’s 17-county service area.

Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender Marcos Christopher Alonzo is this month’s Featured Fugitive.The reward for information leading to his arrest is increased to $4,000 during May if the tip is received this month.
SENIOR CLASS - LISD seniors and their parents were invited to spend time together to paint a ceiling tile that would be placed in the LHS hallway. The ceiling tiles will be left up and the Class of 24 will leave their legacy in the hallway forever. This event will grow with future LHS seniors. PLANTING A TREE- Second graders at South Elementary had the honor of planting a Fruitless Mulberry Tree on Friday. Every child got to use the shovel and put the dirt around the tree.
