However, the Parks and Recreation Department in Levelland has decided to take things into their own hands and had a play in the snow event last week. Youg and onl enjoyed the snow ball fights. SPC sets Pacesetter honorees ahead of Scholarship Gala

South Plains College and the SPC Foundation will recognize Scott and Jaime Bryant with Butch’s Rat Hole & Anchor Service as the 2024 Pacesetter honorees at the 26th annual Scholarship Gala. The honorees will receive the award at the Gala set for 6 p.m. on Feb.

Bill Powell adds name to city council ballot

Mr. Bill Powell, long-time resident, and current Executive Director at South Plains Community Action Association in Levelland, has filed his candidacy for City Council member for District A. Powell has lived in Levelland since 1980. He has served as Executive Director at SPCAA since 1992.
