The Levelland Police Department’s “Blue & You” organization hosted its third Annual Blue Santa Christmas event for 29 children and 17 families Saturday.

Mutual aid called during grass fire

The Levelland Fire Department and Hockley County Emergency Management responded to a large grass fire Saturday afternoon. According to reports from Hockley County Emergency Management Coordinator Cole Kirkland, the fire occurred near West Highway 114 and FM 303.

12/8/2023 - HOCKLEY COUNTY Deputies with the HCSO responded to the area of FM 1294 and N. FM 168 in reference to a possible vehicle accident. The complainant reported a black car off the roadway east of FM. 168 and FM 1294 with debris in the roadway.
