A Celebration of Life Honoring Kenneth “Kenny” Lee Yant will be held in remembrance of his journey and the impact he had on those around him on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the South Plains Group 919 Houston in Levelland, Texas.
Kenny was born on August 16, 1958, and passed away on January 13, 2025, in Durant, Oklahoma.
A proud member of the Tulalip Indian Tribe of Washington State, Kenny was deeply committed to his recovery journey. He found strength and support through the South Plains Group in Levelland, Texas, where his sponsor, Gary, and close friends John Demel and Donna Villegas played a significant role in his life.
Kenny is survived by his sons, Kenneth Joshua Yant and his wife Dorie Yant, and Justin Lee Yant. He was also blessed with several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren: Tristan Yant and her son Kacy Yant, Hillary Yant and her son Wyatt Yant, Taylor Yant and his daughter Iyanna Yant, Justin Yant Jr. and daughters Bella and Scarlett, Alexander Yant, Jackie Yant and granddaughter Aspyn Confer. He is also survived by a brother and sister and extended family, and his girlfriend Sue Ann of Durant, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his son Zachary Lee Yant and both of his parents.
Kenny’s life was one of resilience and dedication to personal growth. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
