Doris Jean Silhan passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, in Boerne, Texas.
She was born on March 8, 1946, to George James Silhan and Lorene Vallie Dukatnik in Levelland, Texas.
Doris was a proud Licensed Vocational Nurse, a vocation she embraced not merely as a career but as a calling to serve others. Her gentle spirit and nurturing heart inspired many. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will forever inspire those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her brother, James Edward Silhan; aunt, Georgia Webb; cousins, Linda Sisk and her husband Steve, Jerry Silhan and his wife Tammy, David Silhan and his wife Sharla, and Raymond and Mary Marek. Doris is further survived by many extended family members and friends.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lorene Silhan, as well as her aunts Lillian Theresa Silhan and Margaret Martha Bartak.
Visitation took place at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin, Texas, on April 10, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Graveside Service was held on April 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Boerne Cemetery in Boerne, Texas.
Arrangements were under the direction of Goetz Funeral Home, Seguin, Texas.
