Ninety-six building permits have been issued by the City of Levelland totaling roughly $5 million while 44 permits were issued during March totaling $1.4 million.
Three single-family permits have been issued this year for a total of $580,000. Two business building permits were issued for roughly $1.8 million.
One dwelling permit was issued this month for $180,000, with a total of three permits being issued in the year for a total of $415,898. One business permit was issued in March for a total of $200,000 for two permits. While two permits were issued in the year for $325,000. Two certificates of occupancy were issued in the month of March for $60 while eight permits were issued in the year for $240. In the other category, 40 permits were issued in the month of March for roughly $1 million while 78 permits have been issued in the year for roughly $1.9 million.
Additionally, three structures were demolished in the month of March and 13 have been demolished this year. There has been one sewer connection this year and no water connections have been made.
