5/19/25 – 10 P.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD received a call from the PD stating there was a structural fire around the1800 block of Houston St. Upon arrival there was a fire exposed through the roof on the A side of the structure. The LFD contacted Xcel and Atmos to disconnect utilities. The fire was extinguished and the LFD returned to the station.
5/19/25 – 9 P.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD received a call reporting an alarm going off around the 500 block of Maple. Upon arrival and after investigation the LFD found it to be a flow alarm and reset the alarm. The LFD then returned to the station.
5/19/25 – 3:30 P.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD received a call from the PD stating an oil company had struck a gas line around Alamo and Mouzon Lane. The Emergency Management coordinator asked the LFD to monitor the air on the roadway to see if the road needed to be shut down. Upon arrival the LFD found the limits to be a health risk and had the road closed. The LFD were released and returned to the station.
5/19/25 – 8:30 A.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD received a call from the PD stating there was a fire alarm around the 400 block of Houston. Upon arrival it was stated it was a false alarm and there were issues with the alarm company. The LFD returned to the station.
5/16/25 – 11 P.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD received a call from the PD stating there was a smell of something electrical coming from the vents around the 1900 block of College. After investigation the LFD found a unit was frozen and locked up on a roof. The LFD disconnected the power and told the maintenance guy to check in with the a/c company. The LFD returned to the station.
5/16/15 – 7 P.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD were dispatched around the 800 block of 11th street for the smell of gas. After investigation there was no gas to be found, and the LFD returned to the station.
5/15/25 – LEVELLAND
The LFD were dispatched to the EMS office for the smell of gas. After investigation there was no gas to be found. The LFD then returned to the station.
5/15/25 – 9 P.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD were dispatched to the 800 block of E. 114 to reports of smoke coming out of a shed. Upon arrival there was no smoke visible. After driving around the area, units were cleared.
5/15/25 – 2:30 P.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD were dispatched around 114 and 168, Smyer, due to reports of smoke around the Smyer school. Before units arrived on scene, Smyer units told the LFD it was a control burn and everything was fine. Units cleared the scene and returned to the station.
5/15/25 – 2 P.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD were dispatched around FM1294 and Onion Shed road due to reports of a motorcycle vs. a cow. While enroute the scene was cancelled and everything was clear.
5/12/25 - 9:45 P.M. - LEVELLAND
The LFD were dispatched to the 900 block of Robin Road in reports of smelling at a residence. Units arrived on scene and ran the tri gas monitor. Atmos arrived on scene and the scene was released to them.
5/7/25 – 10 A.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD received a call reporting a motor vehicle accident rollover near the 4900 block of 114. Upon arrival, fire personnel found the vehicle on its side and the patient was standing out of the window. The window and windshield was removed. The LFD stayed to direct traffic until they were released by the HSO.
5/6/25 – 8 P.M. – LEVELLAND
The LFD received a call about a gas meter being struck behind a residence around the 600 block of Cherry. Upon arrival, the meter was damaged and leaking around the damaged area. Atmos was dispatched and the gas was turned off.
5/5/25 – 11 P.M. – HOCKLEY COUNTY
The LFD received a page for a tank battery on fire around Maine and Dallas Road. Upon arrival, an oil field representative was on scene shutting the well as the LFD were unable to make it due to flooding. LFD was informed by Texland representatives they were able to shut down wells.
5/3/25 – 3 P.M. – ROPESVILLE
The LFD received a call about a structure fire around the 3900 block of Foster. Dispatch advised of a well house on fire approximately 15 to 20 feet from a residential structure. Upon arrival, a water well house was completely burned to the ground. Fire crews remained until all hot spots were extinguished. There were no injuries and no damage to any other structures in the vicinity.
