  • PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR - LHS Principal Dr. Matthew Birdwell was named Texas Association of Secondary Principals' Region 17 Principal of the Year. Dr. Birdwell was nominated by his peers for his leadership, which focuses on providing high-quality learning opportunities for students as well as a great place for his staff to work.
