The Levelland ISD Board of Trustees will be holding special meetings Monday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 8 in the administration building boardroom located at 704 11th Street.
Agenda items slated for the Monday special meeting include: Consider approval of the Lubbock Regional Day School Program for the Deaf; Closed session as allowed by the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code, Section 551.074 - If, during the course of the meeting the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session is required, then such closed or executive meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq., will be held by the School Board in such closed or executive meeting concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including, but not limited to the following sections and purposes: Texas Government Code Section: 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.075, 551.076, 551.082,551.083,551.084,551.0821, 551.087 - Interview candidates for the superintendent position - Deliberation concerning the second-round interviews for the superintendent position; Reconvene open session; and Adjourn.
