During Levelland’s City Council meeting Monday evening, Levelland Police Officer Blake Parker was celebrated with a pinning ceremony as he has been promoted to Sergeant. Sergeant Parker began his public safety career as a telecommunicator with Muleshoe PD before earning his Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement and graduating from the South Plains College Police Academy. He has served with the Levelland Police Department for the past four years and currently holds an Intermediate Peace Officer License. He also serves as a Field Training Officer and ALERRT Instructor.
