The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a regular meeting Monday, July 21, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom.
Agenda items set for the meeting include: Read for approval the minutes for the regular meeting held at July 14; Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court dated through July 21; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Hockley County Treasurer’s 2025 Second Quarterly Financial Report; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Agreement between Hockley County and Lubbock Telcom for phone service; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Addendum to Windstream Service Terms and Conditions;
Consider and take necessary action to approve the Continuation Certificate for Gina Sisk, Clerk, Hockley County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 5; Consider and take necessary action to approve the monthly reports due as per 114.044 Local Government Code as submitted by the Hockley County District Clerk, Hockley County Clerk, Hockley County Auditor and Justice of the Peace Precincts 1, 2, 4 and 5; and Discussion and potential action to approve not to renew the Amended Interlocal Agreement for the Establishment of the High Plains Regional Public Defender’s Office and sending notice not to renew.
Following the regular meeting, a budget workshop will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom.
