Susan Garcia Salas, 61, of Levelland, passed from this life on July 31, 2025 in Sundown, Tx. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 8, 2025 at St. Michale’s Catholic Church in Levelland. Susan was born October 16, 1963 in San Antonio, Tx to Juan Jose Garcia Sr. and Conrada Rodriguez Garcia.
Susan worked for Wells Fargo for several years as the Bilingual Phone Banker -No. 2 in Lubbock. Her hobbies were shopping with sister Sandra and her daughters at Target, Walmart, Ross, Hobby Lobby and Michael’s and a variety of stores. After, enjoying a day of shopping they would all go out and eat, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Her passion was making Holy Rosary’s necklace, beads, earrings, bracelets and rings. All her love went to her children and grandchildren and close friends. Susan was a long-time member of San Isidro Catholic Church of Sundown and St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
She is preceded in death by her parents Juan Jose Garcia Sr. and Conrada Rodriguez Garcia, daughter Juanita Conrada Celeste Haley and sister Nancy Guillon.
She is survived by her daughters Rosa Maria Medrano of Houston, and Amy Lynn Salas of Lubbock, sisters Sandra Garcia, of Lubbock, Norma Garcia of Midland and Mary Amaya of Sundown, brothers Juan Garcia of Austin, Jacob Garcia of Lubbock and Jody Garcia of Odessa and grandchildren Christopher Salas, Cheyenne Salas, Faith Davila, Lexi O’Balle, Anika Davila.
