Week seven of the Levelland & Hockley County News Press has concluded and the results are in.
Tucker Rowland won the week with an 18-2 record with no tiebreaker needed as Rowland was the only contestant with 18 correct picks.
It was still an insanely competitive week as five contestants were 17-3 in their picks right behind him.
In fact, there probably hasn’t been a higher percentage of contestants with more than 15 correct picks in a week to this point in the contest.
Fantastic job to everyone on being so competitive and especially to Tucker Rowland for nailing it this week.
The matchups that plagued almost everyone this week were Kansas State vs. TCU and the Carolina Panthers vs. the Dallas Cowboys.
Shoutout to Jonathan Golightly and Tom Wilson for picking Kansas State, and to Kip Hancock and Aiden McCleod for picking the Panthers, and finally to Amelia Moody who picked both correctly.
With three weeks of the contest left, we have 11 contestants with over 95 correct picks in the overall standings.
Just looking at the standings, it appears that it will come down to the wire, so be sure to keep following the guidelines for a chance to win the prizes.
