The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will hold its regular meeting on Oct. 20 at 9 a.m.
Action items for consideration and possible action include approving the Rev.com AI video transcription software for the District Attorney’s office, the Hockley County Treasurer’s 3rd Quarter Financial Report, adopt and update credit card policy and accept the immediate resignation of Craig Workman, Pct. 1 constable.
A d d i t i o n a l l y , commissioners are expected to consider and take action on the Interlocal Agreement between Hockley County and the City of Ropesville for road maintenance, advertise for bids for cleaning the Mallet Event Center & Arena, and Ad Valorem tax refunds.
To be considered also is the approval for Resolution 2025-8, the Texas Department of Agriculture, Texans Feeding Texans, Home-Delivered Meal Grant Program, Authorizing County Grant Program for 2026 for $937.50 to Hockley County Senior Citizens Association Inc.
Other action items include approval of reports by the district clerk, county clerk, auditor and Justice of the Peace, Pct 1,2, 4 and 5, as well as the road crossing for Beryl Oil and Gas, LP in Pct. 3 and Pct. 4.
