The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will hold its regular meeting on Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. Action items for consideration and taking necessary action concerning the Jury Selection Plan.
Additionally, commissioners are expected to consider and take action on the Amendment to Mutual Cooperation Agreement between the South Plains College auto theft force and the theft task force and the Hockley County Sheriff’s Office to extend the agreement for an additional one year term beginning Sep. 1 and maturing Aug. 31, 2026 with no additional matching funds to be required.
To be considered also is the approval for the FY2026/ 2027 Interlocal Agreement between Hockley County and the Regional Public Defender for Capital Cases. Other action items include approval of the following Plats, Ellwood Estates lots 19, Ellwood Estates lots 1025 and Ellwood Estates lots 26-37.
