Sundown city council meeting set for Nov. 18

The Sundown city council will be holding its regular meeting on Nov. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Sundown City Hall.

The Sundown mayor is expected to make a statement regarding appropriate conduct at council meetings, along with updates from PWS, Sundown Police Department, fire department and city hall, as well as discuss the TDA water project.

Actions items expected to consider and take possible action on include the Hockley County Appraisal Board ballot, Ordinance #614 budget amendment FY24-25, and recognizing the History of Park Facilities, Oil Derricks & Roughneck Gazebo.

Additionally, the council is expected to discuss and take action on the building located on 0.1221 acres on Martin Ave. license agreement.

The council is expected to convene into executive session to discuss and take action on the city administrator’s contract.
