LEAP (Levelland Emerging & Active Professionals) and First United Methodist Church Women’s Group recently filled the Blessing Boxes. Chamber of Commerce and LEAP Blessings are located at First Presbyterian Church (Austin St & Ave L), Cactus Drive Church of Christ (501 Cactus Dr.), First Baptist Church (500 block of Ave C) and Whitharral Baptist Church. These are to “take what one might need” and also for local citizens to drop off items “leaving what they can.” Brenda Victorino, Josh Meredeth, and Devin, Daphne and Aubrey Sonnenburg filled the boxes.
