The Levelland ISD board of trustees will be holding their regular board meeting on Dec. 17 at 6 p.m.
The first business of order is expected to be a public hearing on the FIRST Rating which is the state’s school financial accountability rating system.
Consent items on the agenda, include the ABC playground structure, financial reports, district innovation plans, reports from campuses and other agreements and staff reports.
Trustees are expected to consider and approve plans for the ABC Playground Shade Structure as well as an smendment to the District Innovation Plan.
The board will also consider the financial report and an agreement between LISD and Live Oak Public Finance, LCC for Municipal Advisory Services.
Reports on the agenda include quarterly, FIRST Rating, middle, high school and athletic departments, academic reports and student fundraising.
The superintendent will likely give reports on superintendent goals, legislative updates and the TTU partnership agreement.
The board will likely go into executive session to discuss the superintendent evaluation tool, DED and DEC local and consider action on DEC local and DED local policies.
