The 286th Judicial District grand jury met on Dec. 17 and handed down the following indictments: Lysette Romero, DOB 12/12/1995, charged with tampering with evidence and assaulting a peace officer or a judge; Modesta Hyson, DOB 04/13/1993, charged with burglary of a habitation; Luis Rondon, DOB 09/ 13/1992, charged with aggravated sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping sexual assault, and burglary of a habitation to commit sexual assault; and Cory Mankin, DOB 10/ 19/1984, charged with evading arrest with motor vehicle.
