Antonio Loa Sr., 78 of Levelland, passed from this life on Dec. 22, 2025. Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
Antonio Loa Sr. was born Aug. 16, in Levelland. He attended school in Levelland in his younger years. He married Juanita Castillo, on April 2, 1969, in Levelland. They were blessed with five children. He lived in Levelland all his life. He worked for Key Energy Oil Co. and for Wallie Castillo at Sundown Tubing and Testing for several years. His hobbies were going to casinos, traveling to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and spending time with all his grandchildren. He enjoyed bowling, softball, watching the Dallas Cowboys and working. His family was his pride and joy. He was a lifetime member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerardo Sr. and Artemia Estrada Loa; his granddaughter, Katrina Hernandez, brothers, Ruben Loa, Rudy Loa, Preciliano Loa and Gerado Loa Jr.; and his nephew, Steve Loa.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Castillo Loa; daughters, Rachel (Alfredo) Hernandez and Melissa (Pete) Salas; sons, Antonio Jr. (Anitra) Loa, Theodore Loa and Mark (Annette) Loa; sisters, Amelia Almager and Herminia “Minnie” (Eustolio) Ramirez and Gloria (Bobby) Flores; brothers, Dago Loa and Leon Loa; and 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-greatgrandchildren.
