The Hockley County Commissioners Court will be held on Jan. 5 at 9 a.m. at the courthouse.
Commissioners are expected to approve monthly bills and claims dated through Jan. 5.
Commissioners are expected to discuss and take action on the appointment of Nicole Griffin as Hockley County Attorney and approve the necessary bond. Additionally, commissioners are expected to take the necessary action to approve the Multiple Use Agreement between Hockley County and Texas DPS, which was approve on Jan. 27 but contained a scrivener’s error on page 2.
Commissioners are also expected to take action to Nunc Pro Tunc the agenda dated Dec. 22 to change the year of the model of the motor grader that was traded in 2020 to 2021 and the model of the grader that was purchased to 140M2 to 150 for use in Precinct 4.
