JOB OLYMPICS

Levelland ISD students with the LOC program recently invited LISD employees and Board Members to help interview students as they prepare for the Region 17 Job Olympics. Job Olympics is a hands-on schoolbased event designed to help life skills students develop the vocational and functional skills students need for a successful transition into adulthood. LOC students have been working in class practicing the skills required for the competition, including interview skills like the ones they practiced during this event. Opportunities like this make help students gain real-world experience and confidence. The goal of Job Olympics is to prepare students to enter the workforce through a fun and engaging competition while building skills they can use in real job settings.
