The Sundown City Council will hold a regular meeting on April 14 to be held at Sundown City Hall.
The council is expected to hear reports on public works and library updates, police department and fire department reports, and city hall report.
The council is expected to consider approval of Logic Investment Pool and Texas Star Investment Pool as authorized investments.
A proclamation for April 1925 as National Library, Park & Volunteer Week in Sundown is expected to be approved.
The council has a request from the softball league to name the girl’s softball field.
The council is expected to consider a request from Roland Rodriguez to purchase East 30’ of Lot 80, Sunset Sundown, 314 W 5th St.in Sundown.
There is also a request for voluntary park funds to cover storage building and concrete work.
Other items include a budget amendment for proceeds from loan with Government Capital Securities, a livestock permit requested by Jared Neighbors, and a review of Resolutions #108 and #109 concerning investments policy and strategies.
