Hockley County youngsters will be treated to a free movie, “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,” starring Mickey Rooney, Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Wallace theatre.
The free show is being sponsored by the merchants of Levelland for children of the county between the ages of four and twelve years of age. Children under four years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The adult will be required to purchase a ticket, proceeds of which will help support the cost of the movie.
This is the first in a series of free movies to be offered youngsters of the county according to Royce Blankenship, manager of the theatre.
Merchants are paying for the cost of film rentals and operations by contributing five cents per foot front per week toward the expense. Wallace theatre provides the audito-
