Funeral services for Robert Rangel Escalante, 76, of Morton, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 10, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation was held Friday, December 9, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Krestridge Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery, under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home of Levelland.
He passed away December 6, 2022.
Robert was born March 31, 1946 in Morton to Roman and Guadalupe Escalante.
He attended Morton ISD. Robert worked for Morton and Levelland Delinting and he was also a self-employed trucker for more than 50 years.
He married Virginia Fuentes December 21, 1968.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jenaro Escalante.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Virginia Escalante of Morton; daughter, Veronica Escalante and husband, Jack Hurd of McKinney; son, Eric James Escalante and wife, Karina, of Lubbock; daughter, Adriana Infante and husband, Sergio, of Wolfforth; brothers: Eron, Demetrio and Johnny; and sister, Frances; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
