Funeral services held for Alissa Guerra, 18
Funeral services for Alissa Rena Guerra, 18, of Levelland formerly of Morton, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, with Jonathan Phillips officiating.
Interment followed in the City of Levelland Cemetery, under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home of Levelland.
Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, January 9, at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel, with the reciting of the Rosary held at 7 p.m. Monday.
Visitation resumed at 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday, January 10, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
She passed away January 2, 2023, in Dallas.
Alissa was born March 8, 2004, Adam and Veronica Vargas Romo in Levelland.
She moved to Levelland and Morton area in 2022 from Waldron, Arkansas.
Alissa worked for Wal-mart traveling from Arkansas to Florida transporting displays for corporate.
She is survived by her parents, Adam and Veronica Vargas Romo of Morton; daughter, Khloe Jennie Valdez of Morton; brothers, Adam Romo, Jr. and Abundio Romo, both of Friona; sisters: Mercadez Guerra and Victoria Guerra, both of Morton, Marisol Guerra of Waldron, Arkansas and Marina Romo of Friona; and grandparents: Manuel and Maria Vargas of Levelland and Oscar and Erminia Guerra of San Benito, Texas.
