Barbara Joyce Fowler, 74, passed away January 14, 2023.
Barbara was born August 7, 1948, to Elmer and Bettie Roberts.
She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She always had the brightest smile in the room.
Barbara married the love of her life, Walter Thomas Fowler, October 23, 1965. They were inseparable for 57 years and took pride in watching their family grow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Bettie Roberts; two brothers, Aaron Roberts and Frankie Roberts; three sisters: Cleta Tyree and husband, Johnny, Phyllis Settle and husband, Ricky, Kathy Nelson and husband, Darrell.
She is survived by her loving husband, Walter Thomas Fowler; son, Bradley Fowler and wife, Jill; daughter, Tina Durrett; son, Douglas Widman and wife, Joyce; aunt, Charlene Hughes; niece, Carmen Nelson; grandkids: Shambrey Davis and husband, Ryan, Toby Widman and wife, Danielle, Tori Eaton and husband, Caleb, Benji Laurenzana and husband, Dwight, Kelsey Sasin and husband, Zach, Caleb Fowler and wife, Bryanna and Lindsey Gibbs and husband, Hunter; and eight loved great-grandchildren.
We request all of Barbara’s family and friends to join us for a celebration of life ceremony to be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 21, at Second Baptist Church, located at 301 Cherry Street, Levelland, Texas, 79336.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 20, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
