Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 16, 2023 at 2p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
Officiating service is Deacon Jesse. Interment will be at the Morton Memorial Cemetery in Morton,Tx. Pallbearers are Jason Duke Bautista, Pat Henry, Leo Moreno, Martin Diaz, and Manuel Florez.
Funeral service are under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home and Staff in Levelland.
Visitations and reflection of life will be held Tuesday March 14, 2023 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Wednesday March 15, 2023 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland.
Rosary will be held on Wednesday March 15, 2023 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel.
Ana passed from this life on March 8, 2023 in Lubbock,Tx. She was born on October 6, 1960 in Levelland,Tx to parents; Joe Gomez and Benina Sabala Bautista.
Ana Marie Bautista, was a wonderful daughter, sister, and aunt. A graduate of Morton High School year of 1979. She continued with her education accomplishing and graduating from West Texas University in Canyon, Texas with her bachelors degree of Sociology. She worked as an educator for Hereford Independent School District in Hereford, Tx for five years. Her hobbies were watching WWE wrestling, listening to 80’s pop music, and going to watch mystery movies with her nephew and nieces, discussing topics of sociology with her nephew Jason over the phone. Ana Marie, moved to Portales, New Mexico from Hereford, Tx where she settled. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton during her younger years and attended St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Portales, N.M.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Joe Gomez and Benina Sabala Bautista, two sisters; Dolores Acosta and Lucy Lovington, brother, Joe Louis Bautista, nephew, Omar Louis Bauista. Survivors include sisters; Aurora (Johnny) Dominguez of Richland Hills, and sister in law Ninfa Bautista of Slaton, brother: Arnold (Vickie) Bautista of Levelland, nieces; Erica Lovington of Meadow, Jessica Lovington of Hereford, Ysenia Acosta of Ralls, Holly Gonzales of Levelland, and Cheyenne Bautista of Austin, nephews; Dominic Dominguez of Austin and Jason Duke Bautista of Slaton, Tx.
