Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 29, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation and viewing was held on Tuesday March 28, 2023 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at the City of Levelland Cemetery in Levelland. Artie passed from this life on March 26, 2023 in Levelland, Tx.
She was born October 29, 1931 in Whitharral ,Tx to parent Bennie Weeks and Lena Alene Cooper Helvey.
She married Virgle Ennis Taylor Jr. on November 18, 1957 in Clovis, N.M..
Artie is preceded in death by; parents, Bennie Weeks and Lena Alene Cooper Helvey, spouse Virgle Ennis Taylor Jr., daughters; Rebecca Bradshaw, and Lynn Diane Hodge, grandsons; Brandon Lee Garrett, Roy Victor Taylor and Justin Wayne Willeby, three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by; sons; Carol Wayne (Mary Elizabeth) Crisp of Pottsboro, James Michael (Paula) Crisp of Littlefield, Johnny Dale (Diane) Helvey of Jacksonville, Oregon, Alan Joe (Lillie) Taylor of Russellville, Arkansas, Bennie William (Dorothy) Taylor of Levelland, and Roy Lee (Nancy) Taylor of Baird, TX, daughters; Darlene Murrell of Levelland, and Glenda Applegate of Pampa, TX, sister, Lillie Mae Taylor of Amarillo, Tx, 32 grandchildren; 44 greatgrandchildren, five great- great grandchildren.
